Ashley Ferrara - soprano
Ashley is a resident of Wilmington, however she grew up in South Jersey. There she completed her undergraduate degrees in music and education at Rowan University, studying voice with Marian Stieber. She then went on to complete her master's in vocal performance at the University of Delaware and studied with Dr. Blake Smith. Since then, in pursuit of her goals of training music educators and advancing the role of the arts in the American education system, Ashley is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Music program of Boston University. She is proud to be going on her tenth year as an elementary general music teacher in the Brandywine School District, and also works with the Choir School of Delaware. She performs regularly with Opera Delaware, and enjoys playing the ukulele on the side!
Courtney Morgan - Soprano
Courtney hails from Clearfield, Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Art in vocal performance from York College of Pennsylvania where she studied under Nina Brown and Dr. Erin Lippard. She then moved to Philadelphia to pursue a Masters in Music studying under Dr. Christine Anderson then, soon after, Daniel Lickteig. She has been an apprentice artist with Opera Roanoke in Virginia, Opera Susquehanna in York, and Vulcan lyric in Philadelphia. Past roles include Suor Angelica in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, La Ciesca, in Puccini’s Gianni Schicci, Geraldine in Samuel Barber’s A Hand of Bridge, Flower in Daniel Catan’s La Hija di Rappaccini, and Liu in Puccini’s Turandot. She currently studies with Jessica Lennick.
Arreon Harley - counter-tenor
Arreon is excited to sing for another season with Quattro Voci! There are many things that he enjoys, but nothing more than Christmas. Yes, Arreon is obsessed with Christmas; he loves Christmas decorations, Christmas cookies and of course, Christmas carols! After graduating from Goucher College with bachelor’s degrees in music theory & composition and in music performance (opera), Arreon moved to Delaware to attend graduate school at the University of Delaware. There he studied choral conducting with pedagogue Dr. Paul D. Head and voice with Dr. Noel Arcchambeault; he holds a master's degree in both areas. Currently, he leads the 130 year old Choir School of Delaware as its artistic director.
Stephen Ferrara - tenor
Stephen is looking forward to another holiday season with Quattro Voci. Originally from Gloucester County, New Jersey, he can hardly remember a time when he was not singing! He especially looks back fondly on his red-blazer-sporting days as a soprano in the Philadelphia Boys Choir, with which he toured from 1999 - 2002 under Dr. Robert Hamilton. Stephen studied voice with soprano Marian Stieber and tenor Jon Garrison at Rowan University, where he also had the privilege of performing with the Concert Choir under the direction of American composer and conductor Z. Randall Stroope. At Rowan he was the recipient of top honors from the National Association of Teachers of Singing Voice Competition, and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in music. More recently, Stephen has been a member of the singing staff at the historic Victor Cafe in South Philadelphia, and is a choral scholar with the Choir School of Delaware. He can also be found performing with local ensembles Delaware ChoralArts and Qvinctus (a professional men’s vocal group); as well as with the Philadelphia Orchestra’s resident choral ensemble the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir.
Benjamin Rowe - baritone/bass
Benjamin Rowe is Bass-Baritone hailing originally from Royersford, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Delaware where he studied voice under Dr. Robert Brandt and Dr. Noel Archambeault. While at Delaware, he also sang under the direction Dr. Paul D. Head with the UD Chorale and Delaware Choral Academy, with whom he participated in various tours to Israel and Europe. Recently, Benjamin taught elementary school music in Maryland for 2 years before embarking on a new journey to becoming a pilot. Currently residing in Baltimore, he enjoys his musical life as a choral scholar with the Choir School of Delaware and the Christ Church Choir of Christ Church Christiana Hundred.
Marat Muradov - bass
Marat Muradov is thrilled to be spreading holiday cheer with Quattro Voci. This is his fourth year singing bass with the group. Marat is a graduate from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. In addition to singing, Marat also performs on guitar, bass, and piano, and he provides private music lessons.
